ADMINISTRATION
- Pray for Gillean Smiley of LPA as she recovers from heart surgery.
- Pray for the meetings of the Langham International Leadership Team and the LP International Council as they meet in the UK this month. Pray that those in leadership will have God’s wisdom and guidance in making decisions about the ministry in our world where there are so many wars and crises.
Preaching
Pray for our Preaching Movement Coordinators around the world who look after our 117 preaching movements in 100 countries. They are working alongside their national committees to lead the work in seven key areas – leadership, finance, preaching clubs, facilitators, diversity, impact and resources.
Please pray for these Preaching training events:
- 11-17 May – US (Hispanic diaspora), Thailand
- 18-24 May – Canada (Hispanic diaspora, – 4 events), Liberia, Spain
- 25 – 31 May – South Africa (3 events), Liberia, Serbia, Zimbabwe (3 events), Spain
- 1-7 – June – South Asia (5 events this month), Liberia (2 events)
- 8-14 June – Croatia, Gabon

Scholars
- Pray for Scholar Emmy from Thailand who is studying from home with annual visits to Sydney Missionary and Bible College.
- Please pray for the applicants who will receive news that they have not been successful this year in being offered a scholarship.
- Pray also for those who are being offered a scholarship that they will be able to get their contracts and paperwork finalised to be fully accepted as a new Langham scholar.
Literature
- The 2024 / 2025 Library Grant season continues and will conclude next month. Pray for the staff who work on this each year. Give thanks for the many books that have been sent to colleges throughout the Majority World. Pray that they will be a source of inspiration and a deepening knowledge for all who use them.
- Pray for Literature Director Hani Hanna as he travels from his home in Egypt to the UK for meetings.
