Preaching

  • Please pray for the Langham Preaching team in the MENA region during this time of tension and conflict in the Middle East. Our Regional Coordinator is currently in Kuwait and, for the time being, is unable to return to Cairo. We ask for prayers for safety, wisdom, and God’s peace for the whole team.
  • The Global Leadership Training meeting, scheduled to take place soon, has been postponed due to the war in the Middle East, as participants were supposed to travel through Dubai and Istanbul. Please continue to pray for wisdom, safety and peace for all people involved.

Scholars

  • We currently have key Langham Scholars and staff living through the crisis of the current Middle Eastern conflict, especially in southern Lebanon, including its capital, Beirut. While evacuations have taken place for many, the people they are caring for are either stuck or displaced. Please pray that the pastors there receive the wisdom, capacity, and resources to meet the needs, strengthen faith, and offer hope in the midst of this crisis, while keeping themselves safe.

Literature

  • Please pray for the ACTEA General Assembly 2026 taking place from the 4th until the 12th March in Ethiopia, and the release of the revised African Bible Commentary.
  • Pray for the Majority World Writers for the believers, preachers and students in their languages. Pray for deep insight into the local issues and worldview, and how scripture speaks into these. 

Administration

  • We are currently in need of some support on the operational side. Please pray that we will be able to find the right staff and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
