What’s inside

A note from Gillean

CEO of Langham Australia

Dear friend,

Hello [[First Name|entity.individualName.first]],

Next month I have the opportunity to travel to Myanmar, to attend the graduation of the first cohort to graduate from Myanmar Graduate School of Theology since Langham Scholar Ronald became Principal.

What a joy it is to see Ronald continuing to grow, flourish and serve in his home context after completing his PhD in Melbourne (Ridley).

As he also contributes to the development of  local Christian literature, through the books he has been writing (including the first ever Biblical Theology in his mother tongue), Ronald is a great example of what Langham seeks to do: raise up local leaders and equip them to be able to serve the Church in their own context, for its growing maturity and depth.

With around 400 Scholars now serving world wide, and over 70 currently pursuing their qualifications, Langham has made a significant impact, especially as those scholars contribute in a range of ways: from leading theological education, to participating in the preaching training movement in their country, to contributing to the body of Christian literature available both students and the ordinary believer.

We are grateful for your support in this vision to equip and resource the next generation of Bible teachers and preachers, and I look forward to sharing with the Myanmar graduates the ongoing love and prayers of their Australian brothers and sisters.
