Please join us in praying for Langham around the world.
Preaching
- This month the Europe and Caribbean team will meet in Guyana for their annual Continental Leadership Team meeting. This is the first time that they will meet in the Caribbean and it provides the opportunity to understand the work in this region better and meet local leaders alongside their strategic planning. Please pray for fruitful discussion and outcomes.
- Pray for our Preaching Movement Coordinators around the world, who oversee our 121 preaching movements in 102 countries. They are working alongside their national committees to lead the work in seven key areas – leadership, finance, preaching clubs, facilitators, diversity, impact and resources.
Please pray for these Preaching training events:
- Please pray for India as they will have an in-person seminar starting at the beginning of January.
Thank you for praying for these events!
Where the country is sensitive, the region is given.
Scholars
- Pray for scholars and graduates who often have church responsibilities, in addition to their academic duties. Advent and Christmas are often very busy times for those involved in church work.
- Pray for the Arab Theological Forum, being hosted by the Middle East and North Africa Association for Theological Education and supported by Langham. Several Langham scholars and graduates will attend and present at this important regional gathering.
Literature
- Pray for the Regional Commissioning Editors Liz Mburu, Yacouba Sanon, Rico Villanueva, Hani Hanna and Roman Soloviy. Pray for their work in finding authors to meet the needs of their regions.
- Pray for the Portuguese publishing ministry Editora Quitanda which was launched in 2020 and which has already made a remarkable contributions to the resources available by African authors for the various African countries where Portuguese is the language. Currently based primarily in Brazil, the coming 12 months (throughout 2026) will be critical to Quitanda’s establishment in Angola. Pray for the resilience, perseverance, people and connections that will be needed.
