Preaching
Pray for our Preaching Movement Coordinators around the world who look after 117 preaching movements in 100 countries. They are working alongside their national committees to lead the work in seven key areas – leadership, finance, preaching clubs, facilitators, diversity, impact and resources.
Pray for Preaching events happening in these nations:
- 29 Dec- 4 Jan: Trinidad & Tobago (2) South Asia
- 5-11 January: South Asia (2), South Pacific
Where the country is sensitive, the region is given.
Scholars
Please continue to pray for Scholars being supported through Langham Australia:
- Pray for Joseph Byamukama as he makes minor corrections to finalise his excellent thesis.
- Pray also for Crystal from East Asia, as she completes her PhD.
- Pray for new Scholar Emmy from Thailand.
- For the global Scholars team and selection committee, the first stage of shortlisting applications for new Langham scholarships begins at the end of December and into January. Please pray for wisdom for all involved.
Literature
This is a key season for many Majority World publishers because it provides a natural platform and opportunity to explain the Gospel message through the lens of the incarnation. Many cultures expect and support Christians to celebrate their festival. Books to explain the ‘reason for the season’ will be released in many languages. Pray for their impact.
