ADMINISTRATION

  • Pray for Gillean Smiley of LPA as she continues to recover from open heart surgery; she is making good progress.
  • Pray about the Governance Review that is happening across the international ministry.
  • Pray for Dr Lina Toth, Scholars Director as she speaks at the Baptist Global Congress in July.

Preaching

  • Please pray for the new movements that are in the planning stages for commencing in the months ahead. A lot of ground work takes place before preaching training begins.
  • As our teams seek to increase the number of Preaching Clubs in the various movements around the world, pray for those who are leading and coordinating the clubs. Pray that they will be encouraged in all that is being learned and the relationships that are being developed.
  • Pray for Pastor Tukana Nakesu from Fiji who is the Regional Coordinator for Langham Preaching in the South Pacific, that God will give him wisdom and stamina in leading this work.

Scholars

  •  Pray for Scholar Emmy from Thailand who is studying from home with annual visits to Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Pray also for Karuna Sharma in Nepal, who is also being supported by Australian donors.
  • Please pray for our new Langham Graduates (those who received their doctorates in the last 12 months). Especially remember those who will be transitioning back to their home country in the next few months and may be picking up new responsibilities as they do so.
  • We give thanks for the work that Mardochee Nadoumngar has done for several years now as Scholar Care Coordinator for Francophone Africa. As he steps down from this role at the end of June and another person takes on these responsibilities, pray for a smooth handover process and good integration into our scattered Scholar Care team.

Literature

  • Pray for sustained progress at fledgling publishing ministry Onesimas Theological Publishing in Ethiopia. Pray for Tekalign there as he learns so many new skills and faces so many hurdles.
  • Please pray for the Langham Writers forum in Indonesia for the project “Salvation in the Indonesian Context”.
  • Please pray for the Regional Commissioning Editors and their various literature projects. Pray for Rico Villanueva, Elizabeth Mburu, Yacouba Sanon, Roman Soloviy, and Hani Hanna.
