Preaching
Preaching Movement Coordinators from the Caribbean region will gather in Jamaica for 4 days this month to discuss, train, fellowship and make plans for the region, led by Desmond Rogers. Please pray that Langham Preaching will be strengthened and further established in the countries of the Caribbean.
Pray for Preaching events happening in these nations:
- 10-16 November: South Asia (2), South Africa
- 17-23 November: Philippines, Burundi, Liberia, Botswana, Sweden
- 24-30 November: Belgium, Liberia
- 1-7 December: South Asia (3), Bolivia, Liberia, Botswana, Austria
Where the country is sensitive, the region is given.
Scholars
Please continue to pray for Scholars being supported through Langham Australia:
- Praise God that Joseph Byamukama has passed his PhD with only minor corrections required, with two examiners saying it was one of the best PhDs they have read!
- Pray also for Crystal from East Asia, who is completing her PhD and considering where to serve when she finishes.
- Pray for new Scholar Emmy from Thailand who is visiting Sydney this month.
Literature
Please pray for the Literature staff as they meet as a team in the US this month and then attend meetings of global Christian literature organisations there.
Administration
Thank God for the Leadership Team and International Council meetings held last month in Ghana. Pray for the organisation as we undergo an international review of our governance. Remember Riad and his wife Izdihar in Lebanon.
