Preaching in Bolivia, Nigeria, Argentina….

28 April 2014 |

Dear Friends

Thank you for your prayers and support for the work of Preaching around the world. Here are the items for prayer for the week ahead.

Bolivia: This week Eduardo Rojas (facilitator) travels to Guayaramerin with leaders from the Precept ministry. This has been a good partnership. Eduardo asks us to pray that ‘we might find good receptivity among pastors and leaders and a desire for us to come back and start a Langham work among them.’

Nigeria: This week a Level 1 and 2 will be held in Kadun. Edmund Akanya, Ishaya Baba, Akin Afuwape, Raymond Gobum, Godswill Chinemerem and Aremu Adeyemi will facilitate the training for 140 participants. Emeka Egbo (Country Coordinator) asks us to pray for grace for the planning team and for God’s peace for this area of the country.

Argentina: At the end of the week a Level 1 will be held in Cordoba. Wilfredo Weigandt, Martin Field, Emillio Soria, Jimena Garcia and Daniel Salinas will be facilitating the event. Please pray for safety in travel and for those who will be leading the bible expositions.

Zambia: On Saturday, the third out of nine Level 1 monthly events will take place in Lusaka. Siseho Minyoi, Conrad Mbewe, Joseph Honto and Chipita Sibale will be facilitating the event.   31 participants will be looking at the process of sermon preparation, one of whom travels from a rural area to attend. Siseho asks us to pray for God’s guidance and for the students to have a quickened understanding during this intense time of teaching.

France: On Thursday, recently trained local facilitator Nicolas Engel will be leading a Level 1 session with a group of 4 preachers from churches in central Brittany. This is the second day of a four day programme.

Thanks for your prayers!
