LPA Newsletter Mar 2016

Newsletter March 2016

This newsletter has a focus on South Asia, the region of the world that has the most people and where the church is growing rapidly! Last year I was privileged to be in Pakistan for their celebration of 10 years of Langham Preaching and was so encouraged by the enthusiasm for and commitment to the ministry of God’s Word in that country.
This newsletter contains articles on the following:

  • Langham Scholar Dr Havilah Dhamaraj training theological students in India
  • The long-awaited launch of the South Asia Bible Commentary!
  • Celebrating 10 years of Langham Preaching in Pakistan

[If you would like printed copies – delivered to Australia only – contact us at Australia@langham.org or phone 02 4751 9036]

Join us in prayer…

PREACHING

  • Give thanks for ten years of Langham Preaching in Pakistan. Continue to pray for those who continue to teach and encourage pastors in effective preaching.

LITERATURE

  • Last year Langham distributed library grants across 82 countries in the Majority World. Please pray for similar success this year and that packages reach their final destinations safely.
  • Give thanks for the launch of the South Asia Bible Commentary and pray that it will be a blessing to the church in the region.

SCHOLARS

  • Continue to pray for Langham scholars such as Dr. Havilah Dharamraj in her work at the South Asian Institute for Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS).
